OTG wheel spacers
I know this has been mentioned before, but I justed installed the wheel spacers from OTG, and all I can say is WOW! The install is a breeze. The customer service was top notch. And the spacers a real quaility product and the results after the install is just what my Xb needed. I have even noticed improved handling. The car feels much more stable.
So thanks Van at OTG for a great product! |

How long did it take you to do the install?? I emailed Van today regarding the shims. I just picked up my xB today so I am looking into doing this mod. Esp. with the wheels I will be running these would help allot.

Less than an hour.

ya just dont overtighten things or they will break...
i snapped the bolt for the parking brake cable bracket what a fun fix that one was |
Does anyone know what the torque rating is on those bolts??
I will be using a airgun to do the install. Just want to make sure I dont over torque. |
If you even need bolt specs, you can use the following link.
http://www.engineershandbook.com/Tables/torque.htm And there are links on that page to other types of fasteners as well. |
The instructions will have the torque specs needed to do the install. Don't use airtools. Make sure you have a torque wrench

Thanks |
Deffinitely don't over torque the p-brake bracket and the abs wire bracket. I managed to break the stud that's welded on for the abs wire bracket.............while using a torque wrench I might add. Bought a new one that it works a little different than I was expecting, so snap went the stud. had to drill it out and chisel off the little flange thing that was left behind. I used a grade 8 screw/bolt in the newly drilled hole and momentarily thought about doing the same thing to the other side, then I got smart and didn't touch it.

It took me about 45 minutes to install the first side side, but less than 30 minutes to do the next side.
