Default Parking brake light on after brake shoe change

Hi all,
I just changed the rear brake shoes and bled the brakes on my '06 XB, now the parking brake light won't turn off! I checked the fluid level and it is perfect. Are the shoes adjusted improperly? What else might cause this to happen? Any help you might give will be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

I noticed that you havent gotten a response to this. If memory serves me I think it has something to do with the master cylinder. There is a switch inside that gets turned on if the lines are too low front or back and needs to be reset? Youve probably figured out the problem by now since it has been a couple weeks since you posted. If not do a search on the net you should find some info on resetting it. Sorry I couldnt help you out more. Ron
