Are the rear hubs rebuildable?

I know most people change the entire hub assembly to replace a rear wheel bearing but can the hub be disassembled and just the bearing replaced?
I have a press.

A quick search on Rockauto shows there is no standalone bearing offered for the rear hubs and if they don't have it I doubt you're going to find it. Besides, a new rear hub gets you not only the bearing but the ABS sensor also and replacing a rear bearing, even with access to a press, seems like far more hassle than it's worth.

Spring for the hubs...

they are rebuildable, idk how they do it... it's much easier to replace the whole assembly. esp when it's only 4 bolts knock it out, pop a new one in

Thanks for the replies guys.
MilehighTc I don't find this kind of work much trouble at all as long as I can get the parts and there are no surprises. I should already have the tools needed and if it saves me $50-$100 it's well worth it to me.
But If I can't get the right size bearing then I'll have no choice but to buy the complete assembly.
I'll let you guys know what happens.
I plan to work on the car Oct 6th so you won't hear anything before then unless I get new information first.

Took it apart. Not rebuildable

I pried the back cover off

And pried out the cage

It turns out the hub is stamped like a huge rivet. No bolt. The hub has to be destroyed to get it out of the bearing. The only thing salvageable is the outer housing and I have not found the new inner hub or bearing for sale.
So I picked up a whole unit from the junk yard for $15 from an xB and it went right on. I have not found ANY xA Scions in the junk yards. It must be a rare car.

Glad you gave it a try but that would confirm why I wasn't able able to find any separate bearings online...I found components for the ABS portion but obviously that's about as far as you're going to get into the rear hub with that 'riveted' portion.

Good info for future reference.
