Whiteline Swaybar Install Tips

Just did the install on my new Whiteline bar and ran into some design flaws that weren't covered in the instructions.

The first thing is to make sure the inner bushings are out towards the bend of the bar, but still on the straight area. It shows it in the instructions but have seen some installs that were in too far.

The second thing deals with the shock mounted L brackets. The holes are too large and will allow up and down movement. Limiting the effectiveness of the bar. I fixed this by tack welding the shock washer (with smaller hole) to the bracket to limit possible slop.

Will roadtest tomorrow and then re-tighten all the bolts. Hope this helps make the bar more effective for all those who purchased them.

i placed my bushings out as far as they would go on my car. I noticed the larger holes on the L brackets too. I matched up the size that fit the best on the shock and went with it, no problems.

I'll be moving my bushings outwards once my knee heals.
