Hello all. I am a proud owner of an RS3.0 XB and am looking at getting some wheels. My mom also drives an xb 05 automatic and she had 19.5" wheels with very low profile tires. Being a mom, and being her daily driver she hated the wheels and so we took them off. Unfortunately since some people do not know how to properly drive with a low profile rim and tire they are pretty beat up and we always had trouble keeping air in them anyways.
So on to my question..... Is it worth it to fix these babies up and throw them on my RS3.0? I was thinking sandblasting them down and putting on a nice gunmetal black powder-coat to go nicely with the Envy green.


Also will having such a big wheel and low profile tire affect HP and Torque at all? I already know it will affect drivability because I drove my moms 05 at times and it was rough over bumps, very rough. I am planning future engine mods so I don't want to work myself backwards before going forwards.


Please leave thoughts, suggestions, anybody ever went with a 19.5?
