I'm wondering the same thing. I have been searching since reading this post and haven't found anything yet. If I find anything i'll post it.

Back in the dark ages of BAW (before alloy wheels), we usually "reversed" our steel rims, painted them, then used baby moons. It is now referred to as "old school," and I am referred to as an "old fart," but I still love that look!

Well I like the look. As soon as I got my box I ripped those ugly A%$ hubcaps off it. I dont like hubcaps period. Not fond of the moon hubs either. But some of the steel rims I have seen look good. I really dont like a lot of the alloy rims etc either. I have a BCP and really the only thing I think matches it is Black or bronze. Rims in that color are expensive.

If you look at the site I posted you can see pricing on the wheels. $80/ea. for a 15x8. I am not sure how many would want to venture into a 10" wide wheel. If you do not want the standard backspace, you can have custom backspace for an additional $5 a wheel. Not bad.

I am not sure if they offer custom center caps (baby moons) for these wheels or not. But you can always call them to find out. The shop that builds these is also a chrome shop, so if you wanted them in chrome as opposed to black, they could do that as well for an additional charge.

Those widened steelies look really hot, in fact I think they might be exactly what I have been looking for. I have the same question as above however: on a rim that is 15x8 what would be the proper backspacing/offset for the front and rear wheels so they would sit flush with the fenders and not rub when turning?

for those in CA near the mid region, there's

www.stocktonwheel.com

i spoke with him about editing some smoothies to fit 4x 100

they'll do it for the right $$ (exxpensive)

i havent really asked about stretching the stockies, but i might just do it now...

Check out my thread.

I talked to Stockton Wheel. They don't cost much at all!

If you ship them your steelies they will widen them to 15x8" for $105 per wheel. They will also powdercoat them for $47.50 per wheel.

Check my response to your thread. Forget widening yours. Buying brand new is cheaper!

No center caps from what I understand. These are stock replacement steelies for multiple FWD cars.

You may be able to use the fence post dome trick on these, but I can't make any promises.

No center caps available. There should be several that fit because these wheels are a universal style.

I'll pist pics.

^^^ Bingo.

I wanted my wheels DEEP so here is what I ordered....
Front
15 x 8" 5.25" backspacing or about 19mm offset

Rear
15 x 8" 4.75" backspacing or about 6-7mm offset

The price for those interested is $220 per pair including shipping. The wheels come in a semi-gloss black paint. You can ask that they be powdercoated for extra money, or you can request that they are unfinished so you can take them to get them finished somewhere else.

7-10 BUSINESS DAYS.

Oops, I'm a drafter, sorry about the caps.

If you want to wait and see my results, I should have my wheels a week from Friday. I'll take pics then.
