i found this xB on this website, and i was wondering if i could get any info on it. all i know is 18 inch te37's, a toyota front grille and some kind of body kit. does anyone know where i can get more pictures of it? it looks fekkin tiiiiiiiight...

 

It was actually a real deal JDM bB that was imported over here, about a year before the xB was released, to be used as kind of a moving advertisement and interest gainer for the xB. It was styled towards the "JDM" crowd that was growing in increasing numbers at the time, and still continues to grow--they hit the nail on the head, and just judging by this post--people really love the styling. My friend actually saw the car in real life, while Scion was touring around the streets, offering people test drives on the streets (of a stock usdm xB) in populated areas, such as Santa Monica Pier, etc.

They had that black bB and the blue Paisley racing one for display, while they allowed the people to drive a stock LHD one.

I don't know what happened to the black bB with TEs after that--but I do see the blue one pop up here and there occaisinally.

 

yeah man. when i get my xB, i wanna fix mine up like that black one. it's the motherfackendope____! te37's are hella pricey though, but they do look nice and are one of the lightest wheels on the market.

i can't wait to get my xB, but i gotta wait like 5 months..

yeah, that was why i originally wanted a black car with TE-37s. but somehow i ended up with a white one with LE-37s. ok, fake LE-37s but i still like the style.

i like that front lip. looks like the red genie one, huh?






actually, nevermind. i like the red genie better. and i'm not just saying that.

 

get the rota grids. they look very similar. that is what I am getting for mine.
