Well I finally got a chance to look at the air filter tech article -- I had no idea that they weren’t a standard thing! Incredibly easy mod -- thanks for the tip!

Mabey the type of wheels, but going 20MPH or not, my 18" wheels will stand out more that your 15" wheels

That was a harsh comment that really wasn't needed don't you think?

Default ..Quality Good!....

Quality of these plastic trim rings is good. Scratches and curb hits will show, the rings are relativaly soft. No problems after 6 months. I remove them often, every car wash (weekly). They stay on with the same clip set-up as the stock hubcaps.
Give it a try. You need center caps as well. And the Gorilla Lug Nuts.....

Are these domed or flat on the top?

I want flat ones so i can see if I like a nice Scion emblem on them.

I did mine a couple weeks ago, even the techs at the dealership thought they were cool. Couple of issues though, I bought the regular napa caps that everyone has here, but I can't get 'em nearly as shiny as the chrome trim rings.

Anyone have the Napa part # for the chrome dust caps? That would save me a bunch of elbow grease!

As for the black steelies, I had the original hubcaps on for about 17K miles, so lots of dust and junk built up inside. I tried cleaning it as best as I could. What else can I do to get that all nice and shiny?

Default ...WORK...

^^ELBOW GREASE on the wheels. If they lost their shine, use a polishing compound.
Use the same on the center caps. Then wax twice.
When I wash my car, I pop off my hubcaps and use a separate sponge to wash the wheels and wheel well area. Hubcaps pop off without any tools, just grab and pull.
The trim rings need a pry tool of some kind.
POST A PHOTO.... LET'S SEE THE BLING!!!

I should be getting my trim rings and caps today. I am going try Mother Aluminum polish on the caps and see how that works. I had a motorcycle with Machined Alloy wheels and Mother's would almost make them look Chrome.

If that doesn't work I am going to try Chrome spray paint on the caps I figure at under $9.00 for four, if they look bad I will buy a new set.

Also, I am going to keep shopping around for some chrome ones and maybe different styles. I know Balkemp makes a lot of different ones but do not list any for Scion.

I will let everyone know how they turn out and will upload pictures as soon as I can.
