Default Help..Sportmax 962's, what offset?

ok, well im ready to order my wheels, but the one thing i had problems finding in my research is what offset to run.. im not very bright in understanding all of this.. so i need to know whats the best offset to run? rather have the wheels stick out farther, and still have some lip.. im getting 17x7 in gunmetal..

please help ASAP.. getting them in an hour or so..

I have those wheels for my box in the same size, front & rear. I ordered just the standard offset of 40mm. Its a perfect fit in relation to stock geometry. Now others will tell you to run all kinds of offsets, but its rely up to you. A 38 is also good, as the offset gets lower the lip gets wider & the wheel sticks out more. My sugestion is look at some pics of forum members running similar wheels to get an idea of what your looking for. You have to consider how low, if its not lowered, you want to go, as offset will affect rubbing in turns.
Here is a link to kind of give you an idea of what offset & tire size will work out to (its a tire calcuator, but a really nice one as it incorporates rim sizing as well).
