I made a mistake ordering wheels

I just got some rims with a 4x101.6/4x114.3 bolt pattern. I searched online for wheel adapters, and saw these mentioned... I don't know anything about them at all, so I figured I'd ask around here for some info, etc.

I made a mistake ordering wheels

I just recieved my rims for my 04 xB... but they are 4x101.6... is there anything I can do?

Sciond 04-03-2010 09:35 PM

return them

NJxB04 04-03-2010 09:50 PM

I can't... I was given free rims by a family member, I don't want to get rid of them if I can throw them on for under $100

lltysonll 04-03-2010 10:22 PM

title says you ordered them, if you did im certain you can return them.
if it was free then its FREE either way you can return them in either situation.

I concur with the above statement! :P

Frizz 04-04-2010 01:22 AM

yeah tell them they sent the wrong bolt pattern

burstaneurysm 04-04-2010 05:23 AM

I've only just heard of them because of your other thead...
For the sake of keeping things together, I'm going to merge these two threads.

JESSR 04-04-2010 06:26 AM

Send them back...........

spr0k3t 04-04-2010 03:03 PM

You can't use those kind of bolts on the xB. Return the wheels or sell them so you can get the right bolt pattern (4x100).

brainneeded_ 04-04-2010 07:05 PM

what kind of wheels are they? you can have them filled and redrilled, but it'll be expensive. around 100 a wheel.

Giovanna, he has a '98 Civic EX. I googled that bolt pattern and it came up 4x100... So I'm lost right now.

Just wondering, but why is that?

spr0k3t 04-06-2010 04:09 AM

Think about it... the xB uses lug nuts... not lug bolts. Only way you could get those bolts to work is if you redid the entire mounting on the wheel assembly. The prohibitive cost of doing that just to get your wheels with the wrong bolt pattern to fit, you would be better off just buying a set of Eurolines direct from the manufacturer.

NJxB04 04-06-2010 07:36 PM

true... i guess my last hope is the fact that his old car was a honda EX, which would make it impossible for these to be a 101.6

burstaneurysm 04-06-2010 07:41 PM

If they came off a honda, they should fit... have you tried test fitting them yet?

VIP_CAMO 04-06-2010 08:46 PM

as stated above im pretty sure his civic is a 4x100..the only time ive know that honda has a another pattern is on the 95 dc2 integra type-r that is a 114 or 113 x4 then went to 5 lug.

NJxB04 04-07-2010 12:08 AM

I dont have them yet, he's giving them to me this weekend. I'll test fit them and let you know. Thanks for the input guys
