NKB 16x9 ET 30 on Air?
OK my new NKB Meshes should be on the way today. They are 16x9 +30 with a 115mm lip. I was wondering if anyone knew what I'd have to do to make these fit. I have all airlift suspension front and back, with cusco camber plates in the front. I can tuck 18's all around now. I also run short shocks in the back, which i can go back to stock, and that will keep me about an inch higher in the back. I am pretty sure I will need some one ton camber shims. I bought a set of 25mm spacers from the wheels first owner, but I was also wonder if I"d have to use these or not. I am sure I'll have some more fender rolling to do in the back. But if anyone has any idea what I am in for I'd be ever so thankful.
OBTW: The tires are 205/45 Falken's

So you were the one who got the mesh's! After seening those wheels, I had to order my cups. lol. The only thing you should need is to roll the rear fenders. IF you have spacers already you are good. Lets see some pics when your done!
what matt (sarcasmkillsme) had to do was run camber in the rear and fully roll and slightly pull the back fender in the rear, and his fronts were stock (as far as fender work goes)....he also lefted up his HKS coilovers about 10mm from the lowest setting and ran no camber for a while wiht minimal rubbing
The one great advantge of air is I can lift off to ride around. I just really wonder how bad it'll be when I set down. The back should be ok, I just don't want to really bend a fender on the front.
when i first got mysetup with the hks coilovers, i molested my fenders greatly (just paint, no body damage), and i'm running 2 degrees negative camber with pulled fenders like crazy in the front....the only bad part about those nkbs and fitment in the front is that on matts car, you couln't camber the front b/c it would be rubbing up against the front strut, i would just suggest getting an air gauge (if you don't have one already) and just having someone stand outside the car watching the fender and just tap it down ever so slowly
Talking to me?
Oh, I got it down with where I can ride...the deal is the wheels are just huge with a +40 offset. I came from a mr2 that I flew around corners on...The xb does this, BUT the 19's really hinder that.. Thats why I want to get smaller rims and ride lower...with camber.
Anyways, back on topic! PICS!

Well the wheels are here, but i am not going to get to test fit them until sunday. So hopefully, I'll have a good idea on sunday what it'll take to make them work clean. hopefully I can get some pics of them bolted on the car atleast.l
I test fitted these last night, I need camber and someother spacers. The 25mm ones I got are a little too much I think. I emailed oneton today and see about a set of combo shims. So it will be next weekend most likely before I get any good pics of them.
