Default Noob question about bolt patterns

I was looking around the web the other day and came across some DUB rims I thought would look awesome on my xB. I called the guy up to see if they make them in a 4 lug and the guy told me no. My question is how do you get certain rims on your car if they don’t make them in the lug pattern you need. Do you guys swap out your hubs; do you get the rims custom ordered or what?

A lot of the time, you can find what you want(or something exactly like what you want) in the pattern. If that doesn't work, custom ftw.

custom drilled rim bolt pattern or you can get a pattern conversion. those really push the wheels out quite a bit though, so you have to find something with a large positive offset to make it look normal

If you can't get what you want in a cheap, cast wheel, start looking into forged or billet wheels. It is a much nicer, safer option that redrilling wheels, running adapters, or changing out your bolt pattern. Not to mention the fact that you can customize everything from diameter, to width, to lug pattern, to offset, to style, to finish on forged and billet wheels.

^ thats a pricey option, i would love to see some redrilled hubs for a 5x4.5 pattern, that gives you a HUGE selection of wheels.

I had this same porblem when I wanted to run a set of the stock tC wheels on an xB. They would look great but a B to get mounted.

Pricey or not. Hands down a nice set of forged or billet wheels will look better and last longer than changing out your lug pattern just to run a nopther set of low quality cast wheels.
