Painting Wheels, Which Paint to Use?

I was thinking of painting my wheels, some of the Chrome or clear pealed off and they just don't look right, even when i clean them.
I was wondering if anybody has painted their wheels with spray paint, if so what paint did you use.

As stated you can take it a shop and have it powder coated but powder has limited colors also they can wet paint it for you.Or if you want to re dip them go to a shop that is for commercial plating the chrome from them will last with no issues as they go by strict standards and process.I had my metal valve cover done around 10k and now at 80k and looks brand new ill take a pic for you..
