Question rust on steel wheels

All four wheels are rusted like this. Anyone else have this issue?

It's a steel wheel, it's going to rust eventually. I've got one on my car now that looks horrible as I had it stripped to get it powdercoated and ended-up needing to use it when I 'potholed' another wheel and what was once a bare steel wheel is now a nice shade of 'rust orange'.

I'll get it stripped and powdercoated when I put my re-finished XXRs back on. It's nothing major...you could hit them with some rust remover/sandpaper and squirt some paint on them if it bothers you.

It's why hub caps were invented.

Thanks. It appears as if the paint somehow wore off on those patches, exposing the bare steel. I have no idea what would cause that. If I decide to keep these wheels, I'll probably sand off the rust and put something on there to protect the metal.
