Default Staggered wheel fitment (with pics)

For those of you that might have missed Van's Miata wheel fitment thread, here are the same Work Euroline N wheels on an xB. (Front = 17x8.5 + 16mm Offset) and (Rear = 17x9 +17mm Offset). Tires in front and rear are: 215/40/17

Some slight camber and fender massaging might be needed to better accomodate this fitment, but overall... very cool! And one last tidbit... these wheels came from a bB!

Oh yeah... and isn't that a RAD lip?

Peace,
m@

j/k that looks rad. That has to be the widest stance i've seen on an xB.

The rear looks perect but the front looks like it's sitting out too far. Looks good anyway, but I think if the fronts were flush like the rear it would be better

Ummm no. You would have to do some serious work to achieve that.

I could of swore that i've seen wider, like a 2mm lower offset. I think they were ET15 offset on 9" wide rims. but i may be wrong. None the less, that looks bad ___.

Get off my koolaid _____! :D

the wheels are REALLY nice, but i don't like the offsets too much

i'm a big believer that wheels belong *under* the car, not sticking out the sides

flushed is cool, but imo i think they need to be able to tuck inside just a little bit to look right to me.

maybe if they were those same offsets but 7" in the front and 8" in the back?

but that's just me

Actually these are "flush"... flush is not about the tire... it's the wheel. It could also be said that "flush" could be interpreted in different ways... but just admit it... it looks so much sexxxier if the wheels aren't sunken in *under* the car!!! Too bad Axis doesn't make sizes/offsets like these On another note... you'll notice that the tire is infact under the car... under suspenion load/unload the actual tread of the tire is completely under the chassis... stretch tire!!! Remember this isn't a muscle car that needs meat to the ground... don't get caught with too much rubber... it takes away from the wheel and makes the chassis look like it's sitting on KK's

As mentioned by Matt this would take a bit of work to get this to work... and while anything is possible. You should *think* about how this would look. Anything more than an 18" wheel IMO is just overkill. you must consider that this is a K car... not a regular sized car... it would ride higher (if not it would look uber ____ super tucked to achieve a low stance) and the already low power would be even more diminshed by the wheel mass... and brakes... you get the idea... all this unless of course your car is a strictly show trailored ride... then everything I just said pretty much goes out the window!!!

All Matt needs to do now is get a little camber goin' up front!!!

I don't know anything about these damn boxes!!!

I'm feelin' it. The only thing I would change is put 225x40x17s in the back.

M@, could you possibly take a side shot showing the whole car sideways, not jut the wheels. Thanx

That looks badass. I'm feelin the 17x9 in the rear but I have been unable to really find good looking wheels in that size. Just a few 5zigen wheels so far but thats pretty much it. Kinda rare for some reason. Anyways, are those just for show or for daily driving and are they yours or just for pics?
