Default tire fitment on 17x9's all around lowered on df210's

I'm debating on 205/40's or 215/40's. Again this is for 17x9 wheels with 35 offset. I just recently lowered my box on df210's and currently have 17x8's (pictured). however im going with an inch wider wheel and wanting a slight stretch nothing too drastic, yet also want to close a little wheel gap that didnt make up when lowered. I have 15mm hub spacers in rear and up front I have 5mm (roughly), wheel spacers so I know what I need as far as to make it work.
But my concern is what tire size to not rub inside or the outside along the fender. concerned that 215/40's will rub inside being too big or tall, yet concerned 205/40's wont fill enough gap since that's the same size i have pictured below but on a 17x8 wheel. since im going with 17x9's im sure it 205/40's would stretch the out a tad more (on x9's obviously being wider) and make even more gap than pictured below which i dont want.

any suggestions??

62 views no suggestions. Damn. I think I'm going with 215/40's anyways after "eye" measuring for days.
