Default Upgrading to Extra Load/High Speed tires on 2005 xB

Does anyone have experience replacing the original Good Year Eagle LS with Extra Load/High Speed tires? Any change in performance/fuel economy?

I'm running Yokohama Avid TRZ and love them. Average 33mpg and they are very quiet and have great traction.

Great. Those are very high-speed tires! No chance of getting the full potential out of them in the US without risking a ticket. I was thinking more along the lines of 88H all-seasons, though, for decent year-round performance with low noise and high fuel economy. Have you heard of Vredenstein tires (Dutch)?

My Yokohamas are 84T so they are way "slower" than 88H. They have 700 threadwear which is great for a tire so quiet.

I thought "Z" stood for very high speed, but I guess the name of the tire does not reflect its actual speed rating. So if they are "only" 84T, you have nothing to worry about in terms of speeding. 700 tread wear is almost twice as good as that of the original GY Eagle LS. I only have 26K on them and think it's time to get new ones next summer.
