anybody know of these guys or bought from them yourself? this is not a bad deal everything mounted and balanced.

feedback would be very appreciated.

snowromance 02-19-2008 09:25 PM

so looks like nobody really knows about these guys...

would anyone else ever purchase from them?

burstaneurysm 02-19-2008 10:00 PM

I mean, they're decent looking rims... kinda cheap though... I'd worry about what a small pothole would do to these. The pricier the wheel, the better it usually holds up to abuse.

snowromance 02-19-2008 11:51 PM

really? i thought ADR was popular and quality wheel??

are you talking cheap in quality or cheap in cost?

sizzlinscion 02-20-2008 03:29 AM

those wheels will do fine. I bought my first wheels of ebay and my were also ADR. The will hold up fine to a pothole. You should really try to avoid potholes all together but that are pretty decent rims for the price.

snowromance 02-20-2008 05:30 PM

thank you for the info. now what about tires. will i get a rougher ride from 205/40s? maybe go with 225/40s instead??

is kumho a reputable tire brand?

Buebie 02-20-2008 05:39 PM

They are nice wheels and fine for dd'ing. But I heard some stories that they crack, or shatter on very bad potholes and a good square curb hit.
They are nice as hell looking and fitted with tires already balanced? I'd say do it.

Kumho's are very good tires.

every rim will if you hit that kid of stuff.

burstaneurysm 02-20-2008 07:59 PM

^ Tis true... also Kumho are fine tires... people really dig em. Grippy and inexpensive.

sizzlinscion 02-20-2008 10:43 PM

Im rockin kumho, love em'

snowromance 02-21-2008 04:55 AM

how many miles do you have on your set of kumhos?

the only thing i could find bad written about them was that they got noisy after about 5k miles. im not sure how the people are driving though.

i know i don't drive at all in a manner to need "performance" tires but these wheel/tire packages look nice.

Buebie 02-28-2008 01:23 AM

Dude, if you havnt picked these up yet, I'm going to.
My last set of Kumho's lasted 3 summers. Or about 20k miles

snowromance 03-01-2008 04:44 PM

i hope some people jump on this deal. that's why i posted it. i also hope people that already have would see this thread and post up for some real life feedback of the seller and product!

toolz 03-01-2008 04:49 PM

i haven't bought from this seller but I did buy some ADR rims from ebay 6 months ago. I thought the looked good for the price and when i got them I certainly didnt expect them to look as good as they do. ADR is a great product for the price and the pics may pale in comparison to what they look like in person.

check my myspace link in my sig for pics.

thanks everyone for the info. i ended up pulling the trigger and got the BSA's with a 205/45 kumho tire. i'm liking them so far, just installed and lowered the box about an hour ago :-)
