OK, I just want to know if I gotthe wrong LEDs. I have a 06 xB and I wanted to upgrade the stock bulbs for the reverse lights to something brighter. My back window is tinted and I have trouble seeing at night when I'm backing up.
I ordered a set or Pure white LEDs from Garage 1217 and the connector didnt seem to fit well. I had to bend the leads in the socket to get the LED to fit and it still was loose. Also, it wasn't as bright as I thought.

So did I order the wrong ones or is that just how they are?

The bulb for back up isn't a 194 that's way to small its side marker and license plate bulb size. If you have the option TYC tails its diff than the stock tails.
These are probably the brightest bulb you can get for reverse bulbs. There is actually a Gen1 in his pics for comparison make sure you get the correct bulb.

Stock tails = 7440's
TYC's = 3156's

So from what your saying, I did get the wrong bulbs. I even emailed Garage1217 before I ordered and asked specifically for Reverse LED lights for a 2006 Scion xB and their reply was;

"For the reverse lights, the brightest I have are located here.

Ive already emailed them just to double check. Still waiting for a response.

Yeah he might have copied the wrong link or thought you meant license plate lights here is an industry guide for bulbs just follow the drop downs. What I posted is correct I have had both TYC's and stock tails. the guide only lists stock items it wont show option lights

I guess he made a mistake. What has me upset a little is that I emailed him asking specifically for reverse lights and he gave me the wrong info. Well, looks as if Ill be buying LEDs from another place.

no like the wiriing. because the vents lead to pipes that go deep in the bay area. so did u drill through that piping?

Exactly! A lot of online outfits haven't actually fitted bulbs they're selling to any particular car. So they can't really tell you it'll fit. Up to you to figure that out!

Mine are 7440 wedge.........much brighter LED ones now. Did brake/tail bulbs too, also wedge, 7443 red strobe LEDs. Fogs 9006 LEDs. Headlights H4 LEDs. Dome 3175 LED. License plate LED panel pods. 3rd brake light 2nd gen LED mod, climate control 2 T4 neo wedge LEDs.
