DIY: Rear windshield nozzle SUPER SOAKER!
Well, since I've taken off my rear wiper, I have no need for this rear wiper nozzle, so I decided to do this:
- Open the hatch, you will see a black plastic cover over the third brake light. http://uweb.txstate.edu/~ah1367/mini-rearwiper001.jpg -pull straight down, and the cover will come off, exposing 2 10mm screws. once the screws are taken out, pull off the 3rd brake light, and undo the wiring harness. http://uweb.txstate.edu/~ah1367/mini-rearwiper002.jpg http://uweb.txstate.edu/~ah1367/mini-rearwiper003.jpg http://uweb.txstate.edu/~ah1367/mini-rearwiper009.jpg http://uweb.txstate.edu/~ah1367/mini-rearwiper004.jpg -you will now see your washer nozzle, with a rubber hose going to it. (NOTE: My rubber hose is going the opposite way of yours, because I already flipped it!) http://uweb.txstate.edu/~ah1367/mini-rearwiper007.jpg -with a finger on one side, and a flathead screwdriver on the other, push in 2 tabs, and PUSH the nozzle to the outside http://uweb.txstate.edu/~ah1367/mini-rearwiper008.jpg -then flip the nozzle around, so the outlets are pointing up, and push the nozzle back in the hole, making sure the tabs re-engaged -make sure the rubber hose is not kinked -reattach the brake light, and the cover, then proceed to spray people lol. http://uweb.txstate.edu/~ah1367/mini-rearwiper012.jpg NOTE: I did this on my friends ride yesterday, he has a 2006.5, while mine's a 2006. His rear nozzle has 2 outlets, so it sprays both ways. While mine has a single outlet. The nozzles are adjustable. Just take a safety pin, and move the outlet around. |
haha now thats cute n someitng new ! =] good job mang

There are quite a few homless people on the side of the roads here in Austin, and if you fill your takn up with water, you can let them get a free drink! ;)

Just did mine in like 5 minutes... nice DIY... I feel bad for my upcoming victums.. HAHAHAHA THANKS!
This is good against those that tailgate you...
replace the wiper fluid with brake fluid, that'll teach tailgaters.
FYI, I am kidding about the brake fluid, don't try this at home. |
haha that is awesome
That is great
How far does it go?
from the back, all the way to the front.
ive been thinking of doing this for a while now. great how-to!
now i gotta find a way to put my front nozzles in my fender since i have the CF hood without holes. you'll be sorry if you're tailgating me now!!! |
rofl
Did mine yesterday, and got to use it a few minutes ago...
LOL! Thats sweet. If you point it straight up, I wonder if that is good timing to get tailgaters. If you could point it straight back that would be sweet! hahahah
Yea, thats what i meant...the wind takes care of it...you don't need timing, depending one speed and how close you are...when you squirt, the wind should push it straight to the car behind you...
Haha yeah thats what I figured. I gotta do this. I'm gonna get my friends with this too. haha
