Default To Halo or Not To Halo

To Halo or Not To Halo - That is The Question?

I like the brightness of the stock headlights, but I also like the looks of the black halos. So I have (3) questions? Are the halos brighter? Will the lenes discolor over time? What is the best brand to buy? Thanks all for your help!

The halo headlights are not brighter. They actually need aftermarket bulbs to make them safe, imo.
I have had mine since early January and not seen any discoloration.
There are only 2 different kinds and the both tend to fog. so You need to make your decision on how they look. DO you want a set with eyebrows and 2 halos or a set with 4 halos and no eyebrows?

I don't care for the eyebrows. I was thinking of these.

That's what I have, but you can find them cheaper if you keep looking on ebay.

When I bought mine they were $300.

Halo is an pretty good game on the xbox, but lacks coop on the PC. Still, I'd say TO HALO! But I wouldn't say to Halo 1.5 (known as Halo2 by most of the world), cause you'll just end up disappointed like I was.

I still need a new set if anyone knows someone selling a pair cheap.
I bought HID's for mine and I'm waiting to put them in until I get the new set. My old set has a cracked projector.

I like the halos alot. I didn't drive much with the stockers, but they do give off less light. As far as the halos on ebay, they are all the same, and they all fog.

I took mine out and grouted them with silicon once, and have had no issues since.

Ha ha, wtf!

I'm not so much of a fan of halo lights, I think they're gimmicky.

They're not anywhere near as well made as the stock ones.

Very true, but they do look better. And they are set up better for HID's.

I just ordered some myself and I'm expecting some fog on them, but my plan is to take them apart and re-seal them to make them somewhat perfect. The only thing that's making me not want them as much is the halo ring (led) that people say have went bad on theirs and couldn't find a replacement

Yep.

I've got one bad now and one cracked projector. I'm just buying a whole new set. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.
