Horn Help Needed
Sorry of this belongs in the DIY forum.
Bought an 04 xB used, and the car has several mods. Some work, others didn't, and I fixed some.
The problem I need help with is the horn doesn't work. If I press the steering wheel horn, no sound. If I press the panic button on the key fob, all of the lights blink, but no sound.
So I pulled out the manual and checked the fuse, but it looks good. Any suggestions for me to test? Also, I
could use a working link to pix of the horn locations, if anyone has them.
Thanks

Might want to grab some of this info, too, from my info site...

Sorry for the long delay. As you may have heard, high winds from a storm knocked out power for a lot of central Ohio. My car was stuck inside a garage with no other doors than the (un)powered overhead door for four days! After freeing it, I was able to work on some things.
Thanks for the suggestion to jump terminals #3 and #5 under the Horn Relay, Reactor. I used Tomas's diagram to figure out which relay to pull. Unfortunately there is no horn sound when directly putting a wire into both terminals.
Looks like I'm going to have to get some professional diagnostics performed.
Thanks again guys

I was getting a brake job done at a local shop, and I asked the guys to check out my horn. I told the mechanic that I had an alarm system and he said that he has seen this issue several times. "People have alarm systems and the alarm may go off all night long and the horn just burns out." I mention that the xB has two horns and he says, "I know, and the horns are in series, so if one burns out the other won't work."
They installed an $18 horn and charged me a half hour's labor. Now I can honk at the 2-3 people a week who almost run me off the road!
