O.E Tuning cf hood
 

Is anyone interested in a cf hood for their xB? If any of you are, then ryan(greenbox) or I can start up a group buy on the cf hoods. Both of us know Jerry from O.E. Tuning. There are two different styles to choose from, oem style like on ryans'(green bean) xB, or one with a hood scoop. If any of you went to the spy scion meet, then you probly saw his cf hood. I have a cf hood from O.E for my xA. The price of the cf hood will be discounted of course since its a group buy. Just wanted to let you guys know that the offer is out there. You can check out O.E. btw is the scoop functional? Or is it just for looks like on the new Mustangs?

The xA cf hood are only oem style. And i'm not sure if the hood scoop is functional on the xB.

I'm not sure if that's the same jerry from Advanced import tuning and robocar. I recently met Jerry for the first time from O.E Tuning last week when i got sponsored.

The only pic i have of the xB cf hood is from ryans' green bean...

Hey great white, I want that hood with the scoop. How much is it?

i'm not sure yet. I'll have to call Jerry from O.E. Tuning to find out how much is it for the cf hood with scoop. I'll also check how many interested buyers it takes to start a group buy with them.

Is there any pictures out there of the hood with the scoop? I am interested in the CF hood but its the price i am worried about. Is it under $250?

As long as it isn't expensive like the Fiber Images CF Hood in the ScionTuner Store, its a little too much money for an OEM Style CF hood.

I will definately buy an O.E. hood if its under $350. I just think $625 for a OEM Style CF hood is just ridiculous.... no offense to Scion Tuner...

There should be a couple of high quality hoods at a reasonable price..VIS is too expensive especially for the size of the hoods of the xB.
Watch out for OE Tuning, Extreme Dimensions and my sponsor bBist for carbon fiber products....

Also if you want the best qualilty (probably priced the same or even lower than some CF hoods) bBist will have CARBON KEVLAR in yellow, blue and red weaves. I have seen the materials personally and believe me it is NICE!!!!!
Look out for bBist products at the next car show or Team Scion West Meets.

WOW! The CF body kit looks absolutely tight. I can't wait to see it in person. Too bad I'm 300 miles north of everything Scion............

The cf body kit for the xB is from bBist, not O.E Tuning. Sorry to confuse anyone.

How much for the OE Tuning CF hood? Is there a group buy in the works?

I'm willing to pay a maximum of $400 for the OE hood....

I think over $600 is way too much for an OEM style CF hood...

AS long as it has some type of vent or cowl, then I'll buy it...

I'd totally be down for the xB hood, especially with a scoop! After seing how cool Ryan's looked, I'm on the edge of my seat. Is the OE web page up yet Jason? How much, and how soon, those are the 2 questions on my mind.

The OE Tuning hood with scoop will be available VERY soon. Pics coming up this weekend. We are working on an awesome group discount for anyone interested. TSW members get a little more off.

i'd like to see the hood with the scoop at the show. will someone have it? jerry asked if i wanted sponsorship a while back but i guess he got other people to do it. i really want a hood with a scoop. if not, i will have to make my own and it will look like crap.

Yep, I am. They are working on a special order CF hood with scoop. Should be done on the 15th. I think I will be entering the next show in SD as well.

I talked to Jerry from O.E Tuning last night and from what i hear, the cf hood with scoop should be out soon for the xB then the xA will follow. He didn't give me a clear answer on the xA cf hood with scoop coming out. It will come out though eventually, just no release date as of yet. I'm thinking the OEM style cf hood for the xA will be out shortly, since i have one on my car already.
