[Help] Turn signals sometimes work

Hello I got a old toyota 2005 xb with turn signals that are giving me trouble. When they work they have hyperblinking but mostly they don't fuction at all. Weirdly enough turning my wheel left and right can wake them up and they work for some time after. My hazards meanwhile function normally all the time, no hyperblinking or problems with it whatsoever. All bulbs work perfectly when I can get the turn signal to work. My dad has checked the fuses and they are fine. Any ideas as to what it could be?

Hyperblinking is usually a bad ground

Correct. And given the fact that turning the steering wheel temporarily corrects the problem, I would say the problem is with the Multi Function Switch. Basically, the blinker stick.
