Default 04 Scion xB speedometer

Hey guys, new here. I have a 04 Scion xB stick shift, it’s literally 19 degrees where I’m from on December 14th 2022. Went outside and started my car and half way to work noticed my speedometer wasn’t showing me how fast I was going, my rpm’s and fuel gauge was working but not my speedometer. I’m trying to figure out where I should check first since it’s the holiday season and I got 5 kids so dealership wouldn’t be an option or a mechanic. Doing it myself. Thank you have a good day

You've removed amber, and put in blue? What is the polarity on blue LEDs you have (i.e. is the notch the anode? or the cathode?). I've put RED PLCC-2 LEDs and they work fine, but I'm puzzled: the red ones are supposed to be reverse polarity. I put them in as you instructed (notch towards arrow mark on PCB), and they work! But I think they are too bright. Now I want to put in smaller ones, and the polarity question looms... (smaller ones have no notch). I'm confused!
