I tightened my gas cap, as i was told this may be the problem, then walked off and went back into the house. I am not sure how long I should wait before all three lights go off (if tightening the gas cap works). I do have a 2005 XB with 62k miles. If the issue is not the gas cap - and i have been reading similar posts regarding this issue - what should I do? who should I see first? Dealers first? Local shop? Does CarMD work to give me a diagnosis?? I often see their commercials. Any information would help. I am looking into fixing this issue tomorrow 11/9/2011 - im off from work and school.

Any and all trouble codes turn those three lights on. Visit auto parts stores and ask if they'll loan you a scan tool to identify and clear your trouble code(s). Once you have a code or codes, you'll know what your problem is and can go about correcting it. If you can't find a free scanner, buy a scanner or an Ultra-gauge for about $60.
