Default 2006 xb buzz and rattle

I have been trying for weeks to find the source of an intermittent buzz and rattle. It was the two piece black plastic edge on the bottom of the windshield. I lifted it slightly and put in double pieces of plastic bag. One on each outside end.
No more buzz or rattle. It makes a world of difference. It wasn't loud just annoying. I wonder if any body else has had this buzz rattle issue.

I am having "problems" with a new noise, it only seems to happen at faster speeds and its like a little buzz (like a high pitched buzzing bee). I have a feeling it is wind related since it only happens around 50mph+... It is coming from either the engine compartment or upfront somewhere, but I am having problems locating it... any thoughts???

does anyone hear a whistle? i think it might be cause of the billet grill i have air is just flowing right trough the engin, and the intake made a big ol gap between the engin and batery so yeah... i don't think its the car cause i was going down a hill at night, turned off my car going 40ish and the noise was still there

first, do u have a system in ur car? if u do, then check where the power cable is going thru the fire wall. the reason i say this is because i ran my power cable thru a rubber that was in the fire wall and while i was doing this it came off. i had to battle with it to get it back, but i finally did....
.....anyways if it is off, then air could be coming in thru there giving u some kind of noise.
good luck

the hood latch is a common "buzz/rattle" source. raise the rubber hood bumpers in each corner slightly and the sound will often go away (for those who can't seem to locate an odd 'buzzzzzzzz' sound)

I have had my xb for 2 months and since the first week there has been a buzz in the rear corner of the front passenger door, only at high speeds, like everybody else. I think it is the door panel not fitting snug against the inner skin of the door maybe the styrofoam not making good enough contact with the door, gonna check it out. Let me know if anybody else has had that problem, thanks.
