I test drove three new Subarus - an automatic, a manual, and a manual turbo. I did not enjoy driving any of them as much as my manual xB. And yes , turbo is powerful. The xB has a more controlled ride, better handling, a lighter clutch, a smoother gearbox, better driveability from 2000 rpm up to 3500 rpm, and a nicer smooth-revving engine. I was actually glad to get back in my xB. If I get a Subaru, I think I would have to keep the xB, too.

 

Def, keep the xB, even if you get a Sabaru. No more like it being made. And we are loosing more gen1's as the days go by to accidents.
