The box looks sweet right now. I did like the gold rims a bit better, but still....

Hey Chip, now that you have that new kit are you ever going back to automotive paint? It would look great back in shiny Camo.

 

Who knows as much as i change things i might go back shiny again. This year i'm going to leave it chalkboard.

 

i like the box and the kit looks amazing the only think i dont like are the tail lights i think u should do em blacked out instead of same color as car imo

 

The tails were blacked out and still are a little. Those are some jdm tail light covers over them that's I figured i would paint them the same as the car.

Here's a few updates to the box.

I found a set of work euroline wheels.
specs on the wheels
17x8 front
17x9 rear +30 offset all around (supposedly) at least thats what i was told.

The center caps are not on in the pics. I was test fitting the wheels making sure they fit. Which they didn't at first. so i had th throw a 5 mil spacer behind all of them.

I also acquired a jdm luckystar exhaust which unfortunately melted my crappy ebay rear lip. so my old dc sports exhaust and oem rear lip are back on . That is until I get a bB rear bumper.

 

 

 

Yup a paint roller! Thats how the paint goes on . you just roll it on.

so how does the lucky star exhaust sit? looks like it sits a bit shallow of the rear lip

 

yea it s made for the bB so it sits a little shallow. Thats why i'm on the hunt for a jdm rear bumper.

 

hows the sound?

 

it sounds a little louder than the TRD but not as loud as the dc i guess.

 

hnmmmm finger paint! didn't think of that! sounds like a new project for driveway customs lol

Everyone seemed to like it. I have never seen so many pictures taken of the box before lol. Even though the chalk board paint confused them a bit. they couldn't quite figure that one out lol.
