Hi all,

So the rear hatch broke in my hand a few months ago on my xB and I put off getting it fixed because of a variety of things. During that time I started to notice many other xBs that had the same problem and started getting upset because it seemed like a defect and I started taking pictures of them. One was parked outside my office window yesterday, so I Google it and I come here and see that it is a known problem and that Scion did address it- looks like back in 2013? I have yet to contact my dealer, but am coming here first for any tips and advice. I got so tired of taping it it's literally just hanging off. It didn't just come off in one piece, the left side snapped.

Any guidance or info about who would be best to contact first would be appreciated!

We recommend you call Scion at 866-707-2466 to further research. There was a warranty extension for certain 04-06 model xB.
