Default carbon fiber wishlist!

hey all,

i'm working on a business agreement, and polling different car groups to find out the most popular parts each group would like to see made out of carbon fiber.

go crazy! keep in mind, most all parts in your car can be fabricated out of carbon fiber, and with enough production, the price won't be throught the roof.

cost aside, let's hear it!

interior favorite
exterior favorite
suspension favorite
under-hood favorite

Front upper useless grill. I think it would compliment a carbon fiber hood.

I was thinking just smooth so it would look like the hood just rolls down to the front bumper. Actually a hood that went down the front bumper sounds like a good idea.

What I'd really like to see is a carbon fiber intake arm!

Carbon fiber air intakes are actually pretty funcitonal because they are so lightweight and resistant to heat...

I would also like some carbon fiber charge piping for a turbo kit...

This would be super expensive but you said to not consider that.

I also like carbon fiber mirrors, I don't know if they make them for the xB yet but I'm sure they would look nice!

Oh, and a carbon fiber front lip (again, I'm not sure if this product already exists or not)... CF hood + CF lip = the hottness!

Is it possible to get a carbon fiber solid rod for whacking my girlfriend over the head? The lightness and durability would be great. But seriously, carbon fiber smooth inserts to replace the grills, i Know they gotta be somewhat slotted for air intake, but i cant stand the honey comb ones on there now.

I'd like a full tilt CF front end.

IE. Fenders, bumper, grill, hood, all tilting forward as one
piece.

I had something like that made for me out of fiberglass
many years ago for a sport truck (Nissan) I designed.
I miss that lil blue truck.

Hey Stylis:
since you Locked the other threat I'm posting here./
IT IS NOT A DOUBLE POST.
he's asking each car group, I generally don't read the xB only board, I'm sure alot of people dont.
It's two similar posts asking different groups what they want.
Small side effect of having each car with its own subforums.
And if you want to get technical this would be the double post as it was written after the one in the xA forum.

Fabulous hood wing would be nice, but I'd really like a carbon fiber OEM style front grill without the emblem hole.

For the interior: replacements for the silvertone dash pillars and door controls. I hate the way the silver vent bezels "ghost" on the windshield.
