I see it is mounted on the windshield how is it attached.

Is this a dealer sold part like the one for the tC? Does it get in the way of the sun visors? I'm sure many people are interested.

Now try and find something to replace the sun visors that have better vanity mirrors in them...Good find! :D

Yeah, I saw this at the dealer in one of their display cabinets. It's nice, but I wouldn't spend the $250ish they are asking...

 

The auto-dimming function improves your driving safety with built-in sensors that detect headlight glare and automatically dims the rear-view mirror to reduce eye strain. On cars w/o auto-dim the driver has to push/pull a lever to reduce headlight glare then push/pull the lever again after glare is gone.

The mirror above looks like it also has a compass and temperature gauge.

ok sorry for the dealay. The mirror is after market. I'm not sure who makes it. Night vision safety mirror. it Eliminate glare from the vehicles traveling behnd you. it detects glare and automatically dims. The brighter the glare the darker the mirror becomes. it does have a light,comp, and tem controls. the company that installed is Air Stream out of ontario california.

 

well it doesnt really get darker, mine, an aftermarket one that i forgot the brand of, actually turns green...lol.. when the headlights behind u get darker
