..CRAZY 9's & 100K PHOTOS..
Some of you may know what to expect here. Crazy 9’s displayed across the odometer.

And then the 100,000 mile celebration including oil change #20 (with filter) and trans fluid change # 3.

I heard that MT-90 was being replaced by another Redline MTF product, so I bought enough on e-bay to last me through 300,000 miles. Here is the e-bay link if you want to stock up before it is discontinued.

100K is about the distance around the world 4 times at the equator. All that distance with only 2 rear break adjustments, 20 oil changes, 2 sets of plugs and a lot of unnecessary mods. Best car so far.

Here is where I remind all box owners to change or install the CABIN AIR FILTER in that tray behind the glove box. For details and photos on where and how to pop off the glove box to access tray, see TECH thread called ‘Fabricate your own CABIN AIR FILTER’.
I also want to remind everyone with a spare tire to inflate it to 60 LBS so it will be useful if needed.
Thanks to all the SCION LIFERS that helped me select the right mods and install style and enjoy long life.
The END.

congrats. man i want this thing lowered with some wheels so bad. it's got all the trinkets that fit it's style minus that. but clean box dude. can tell you take good care of it. keep it up and good luck towards 300k.
Congrats on reaching the milestone! I had a 76' Corolla that went for 180K and lastly an 86' Camry that reached 167K before I got my 10' xB2. The Corolla was their absolute base model: 1188cc motor, 4 spd, non-reclining passenger seat (2 door, you had to push the passenger seat toward the centerline of the car to unlatch it so it folded forward). Truck took off the front end at an intersection. The Camry had to go since the previous owner rearended another car. Got it fixed, but damaged a engine mount. That mount died at 100k (which stresses the other three) and the next one at 167k. My mechanic couldn't get a new set of mounts, so off to Kidney Cars did my beloved and faithful Camry go.
Toyotas (and Scions, too) are replaced only under one condition: when you get tired of wearing a raincoat when you're driving because the body has rusted away (the motor and trans? they keep going and going and going).

Nice lava box, hip! Is that your plate? HIP2BSQR?
Great speedometer face. Do those orange needles glow?
This only happens once in a car's life so take photos.
Now get used to all those digits on your odometer.
Hit me with a 100K picture.
