Oh, by the way, no way anyone gets one in three days "fresh from Japan" -- they may get it in three days from a dealer swap or perhaps from the port of entry, but no way only three days all the way from Japan. FYI.

Yes. It took 3 weeks to get my Brand new 2006 Camo xB. I picked it up with .4 miles on the odo.

.4 on the odo or the trip? impossible...

there's no way it went from factory doors to the truck and back off in less than a mile. Don't they run the cars for a mile or two after they are built? Around the parking lot to make sure the car runs?

I watched them unload my car from the truck into the lot. After they went a 1/4 mile and filled it with gas.. and back.. I still had 3 miles reading on the odo when I drove it off the lot.......

Anyone know the procedures after the car is built at the plant? I always imagined someone starting it up and driving it out the doors of the plant, around a small parking lot/track, and right onto the truck... Anyone know?

I travel for work so I was able to find the one I wanted. Camo Met Green 5-speed.
I had test drove 2 before I found what was looking for. It was on the salesroom floor with balloons attached to it. I walked in and said "I'll take it!" They asked if I wanted to test drive it. Nope, draw up the papers. One mile on the ODO.

Take a camera when you go. I wish I had taken a pic of the ODO as well as it on the showroom floor with balloons all over it!

See you at Scion night!! (ROBSBOX)

I got y'all beat

I my 2006 TCM xB on July 29, 2005. It was literally FRESH OFF the truck, as it had just been dropped off at the dealership. It wasn't even prepped yet, and the white sheet stickers was still on the hood, roof, etc. I signed the paperwork to purchase the car that day, but did not drive it off the lot until August 1st, because I didn't have insurance on the xB yet.

It had 0.4 miles on the TRIP meter, and 1 mile on the odometer. Took a pic of the odo, cuz I always reset the trip meter anyway :p

Here's me and my gf with our new car :D

I've had the car for 31 days now and have racked up 1,800 miles already. I absolutely LOVE my xB

I'm not sure what counts as "Fresh off the truck", but my xA had 6 miles on it, and my xB had 4 miles.

Mine took about 3 weeks, but as soon as the truck got there, My salesman called me right away. We actually watched it get unloaded off the truck. I took it home a few hours later. (they had to remove all the protective plastic stuff ) I should have taken my camera with me but here's what I have

BUT....as soon as I got her home I snapped a pic of the ODO.
Yes, I live about a mile from the dealership.
I literally could coast down the hill to my dealership if my box ever broke down

I got mine with 5 miles on it, cuz they cleaned it and filled her up. I as well put the 500 down, but my car came about 8 days after I put the order in with deposit.

I went to Kids Day at the Port of Long Beach for Toyota and I rode in like 6 xBs and most of them had only like 1 mile on them depends on if your car is stock or not. I rode in a Prius and it only had 1 mile on it.

so how do you go abouts ordering an Xb, im new at buying a "new" car and i really think it would add to the whole new car thing if almost all the miles on it were mine rather than the previous used cars i bought. how does a deposit on it work.
explanations and info would be very much appreciated.
thanks all.
