i bought my xb over the phone...as soon as it came in i picked it up...straight off the truck...2 miles on it

 

Got my 2006 TCM today with 1 mile on the ODO! .02mi on the trip ODO. I got photos. Don't know how to put them up here yet but i'll figure it out. Deposit down last Friday, left with the vin# and the price out sheet with bottom-line price and less than a week i'm driving it around. I'm happy!!! PS loser here ....I posted twice not realizing that I was not on the last page and thought my first post didn't go through. sorry about that!!! I'm still new!! I'll get it sooner or later.

 

did they get yours from another dealer nearby? I'm hoping for my box to come in next week (2 weeks from when i bought it), i don't want to get my hopes up yet though, but i feel like i'm going to have a heart attack over the stress!!! ahhhhhh

 

I picked up mines from Claremont Toyota 8-9-05 with 3 miles on it. He told me that they it had just came off the truck before I got there.

I got the very first 2005 scion xb in Florida beleive it or not. I bought mine and watched it come in off the truck 3 days later. I bought it in West Palm Beach Florida and the plant it came from was in Jacksonville Florida. My buddy bought his the same day for you guessed it the same price and same dealership, but he got a 2004 and got to take it home that day while I waited the 3 days for a 2005. so I guess it was worth waiting 3 days to have a 2005 knowing that my buddies is getting ready to be 2 years old while mine 1 year and we bought them the same day!

 

No I don't think it came fron another dealer. The sticker said port of NJ and with 1 mile on it , it didn't get driven but on and off the truck.

 

I hope mine is on that boat!!

 

I decided I wanted the xB, but didn't want the single one that our local dealership had--it was white. I wanted the thundercloud silver. They said one was coming in "about 2 weeks" so I ordered that one, no money down. It arrived only a few days later, nothing like 2 weeks. It was exactly what I wanted; I took possession of it the next day.

I have 2 question to add to my post; I've been looking in the archived posts but haven't yet found exactly what I want to know:

1)I'd like to put sturdy floormats in the xB so I don't get dirt and mud all over the squeaky clean new interior. Has anybody found any particularly nice mats?

2)I have seen a couple of posts about seat covers. I also would like these. Has anybody got any strong recommendations in addition to alphabronco and coverking.com?
