Scion xB 1st and 2nd Gen go 2nd and 3rd Best Ranked
I downloaded cars with good fuel economy and cargo space, then ranked the MPG and cubic feet.
You end up with two ranks. #1 in fuel economy might be ranked #20 in cargo space. Add these together and you get an overall VALUE (not rank) of 21.
Take all the values and then rank those and you get these results.
Yep, looks like the Kia Soul actually bests both the 1st and 2nd Gen xBs, but if you're on this Forum, you aren't going to buy one of those anyhow.
Plus I didn't rank horse power. I need power to tow and max cargo space, thus the 2nd Gen xB is what I'm buying in 3 days.
I have a 2005, selling it in May and about to pick up a 2012 xB with 110k miles on it this weekend (01-27-2018 ).
I own Rental units and need better towing power with the 60% larger engine and more cargo space for tools.
I will say I've towed tons of stuff with my 4x8ft utility trailer with my 2005 xB. At the dump total weight was 4000lbs.
I got out of the car and it read 3800, and I weigh 200lbs so that was an accurate reading. It wasn't that hard to pull that much weight.
Car = 2,425 plus me and nephew = 2,765 thus I was towing 1,235 lbs. when I was renovating a kitchen.
But, it would be nice if I had extra power for towing and at 212,000 miles, I wanted something new.
That same nephew will getting the Scion xB in May when he turns 16.
