Hi all. My son just bought his first car, a 2006 Scion xB 120k miles. We noticed shortly after purchasing it, the front driver side door won't lock and won't lock the other doors as well. When he puts his key in, it won't lock the doors either.
When he uses his key fob, it will only unlock his doors, not lock them. At this point, he has to get out and walk to the passenger side of the car to manually lock the whole car up.

Suggestions on what this could be?

I'd pull the door panel off and give the switch panel a good look / test.
