If you saw my high school graduation photo it would prove it! Now as I'm getting older and more mature my unique style comes out in my xB. The first car I bought, all by myself, was a 1993 Ultra Violet Isuzu Amigo. I loved it! It turned people's heads everywhere. And of course stupid questions came along with it. "Wow! What color is that?" Duh! Its bright vibrant lilac…are you blind!?! So after having my Amigo for 10 years I decided it was time for a new car but nothing really did it for me... except for a car that was only available in California -• on the wrong coast! So I hoped my Amigo would keep me moving until Scion was released to the East Coast. Just my luck a year later Scions were being released to the East Coast and a special 'Release Series' would follow shortly. So I waited again, not-so-patiently. Then finally one day in February of 2004, I decided to do my weekly Scion.com check for more info, and there it was! The Hot Lava Scion xB Release Series 1.0! I printed it out & went to the nearest dealership, which turned out to be the Isuzu dealership where I bought my beloved Amigo. I was feeling lucky!!! So lucky I got a blank purchase order since they had no clue the vehicle existed! I waited all through February & March, calling the dealership weekly, impatiently. Finally I got the call that my Scion xB RS 1.0 #1355 0f 2100 would arrive on April 9, 2004! I joined SL the same day I got my xB after scoping the forums for months. The modifying began immediately! First I had the windows tinted, then moved onto my custom painted graphics of my tattoo, then the ICE system, and haven't stopped yet! From there I met other Scion enthusiast here on the East Coast in a club called Team ScioNRG. I met Omar and a few other members at a Brooklyn Bridge meet. I had a blast! I started getting other LI Scions involved in the club. I am now the Vice President of Team ScioNRG and the Long Island Chapter President, the East Coasts Largest Scion Enthusiast Club.
