Fog Lamp switch wiring

Adding Fog lights, wonder how/where to wire the switch, rest of it is already run factory style...

Thanks and sorry if im posting on wrong spot, seems im locked out of most areas.... not sure if i signed up right...

Wire seems to go into the harness about 1 foot from the switch (junk yard car), but not sure what it wires into as the switch did not come with wire or the plug that fits in the switch either...

i wired my fog lights in the the parking lot wire in so when i turn my running lights on it activates the switch. just ran the wire down the left side on the dash by the hood release and found the appropriate wire to conenct (i believe it was the blue wire on my car). and then just quick spliced it in and then you have to run the positive red wire thru the firewall and connect it to the battery.

No in-line fuse?

I think this answers that question, "i wired my fog lights in the the parking lot..."

Why use the wiring that Scion already provides that also uses a relay when you can just run a random wire or two and, even better, it's a reply to a nearly 8 year old thread.

Yeah, I just used wiring that was pre-installed at factory.
