Came across this old airfield on our journey, apparently the guy that lives there collects and restores old planes. He had just finished this particular one last week, and this was her first time out. After the shots we took, he ran her down the runway a few times then took off and circled the field a bit. Sounded absolutely glorious. Btw - don't stand closer than 300ft behind a prop plane during take-off and taxiing... flying gravel and sticks HURT

miller - the airfield is in Hitchcock on 519, coming from I45 it'll be on your left after you pass through an intersection with blinking caution lights overhead.
A 3 - 43mph, sustained through the twisties :D
