Going to dealer, what should I know before hand?
I'm going to test drive an Xb and I wondered if anyone would share their Scion dealer expirences. Do they high pressure sell or what? What kind of questions should i ask?

The options for the Scion's cost too much at the dealership. You are better off to buy most of them as aftermarket parts.
The only diff in price you will find are dealership fees for processing, shipping and such. My fees were only around $250 but I have heard of fees high as $650.

Use www.scion.com to make your own and know what it should cost. Know what you want when you walk in. Don't let the dealer tell you what they WANT to give you. If you can't make it work, go to a different dealer.

The price may be non-negotiable, but they can and will shaft you on the trade in and the loan interest/terms. Don't let them. Never trade in any car. And finance w/ a zero percent interest credit card.

www.carbuyingtips.com <== so much priceless info on that site about how NOT to get screwed and get the most for your $ at the dealership. I know "pure price" is the dealer's excuse to avoid haggling; however, that site will still help greatly, even if you only end up getting better terms on your financing.

know what options you want before you go down there(some salesman are clueless) . most of the scion dealers i've been to are laid back( scion is supposed to be non pressuring). the only haggeling at scion will be if your trading in your car. be firm with what you want for it, if they can't give you what you want let them know it wan't work and you'll visit another dealer( this works because they want you sale). trading save you on dales tax. for our XB we only paid $125, but only trade if you have a good car to trade otherwise sell it yourself. Good Luck, and have fun!
