Default Grinding gear, synchros

My 2006 xb was stolen in January. When I got it back they ruined my clutch among other things and since when I shift to 3rd gear at high Rpms it grinds. The shop that originally fixed the damages (insurance claim) did not fix it all the way. If I shift when Rpms are under 3000 it does not grind, only when they are higher. I was doing some research as I cannot afford to get the synchros replaced and read that if you change the gear oil it will help. I had that done this morning and it did not help. Any suggestions to make it stop grinding without costing me a fortune. I just want it to stop making that sound so it drives normal and I can sell it!

I would be all over the insurance company to get fix right , First call their main office and be polite ,and if that doesn't work get another carrier.
It's not your falt somebody stole your car ,why should you suffer!!!

I cannot prove that the guy that stole it ruined the synchros or the insurance would be fixing it. Unfortunately it's impossible to prove
