Default Why very little xB commercials?

Why don't I see much Scion advertisements? I don't believe I've ever seen a xB TV commercial?

I have seen them all. When the advertise the xB they do it with the xA also. The tC gets its own ads. You might not watch the right channels, I think they show them on stations that are aimed to the 18-26 year market seeing thats what the cars are made for.

If they flooded the airwaves with commercials of the Scions, they would have to raise the list price to reflect their marketing costs. Instead they had chosen to minimize the marketing costs and past on the savings to you. The best thing you can do is show your approval of this policy is to let everyone know how well you like the product and its price.

The networks I see Scion commercials on regularly include MTV, Spike, Cartoon Network and Sci-Fi. Any others?

Default Maybe it's because they aren't targeting couch potatoes.

There aren't many commercials on TV, but there are loads of billboards along the highways. it seems to me Toyota is targeting drivers. (What a concept!} The commercials that I have seen have been like mini-music videos, with the cars darting in and out instead of the usual scantily clad dancers.

They seem to be selling the cars as fast as or faster than they can get them to dealers, so it seems to be a strategy that is paying off.

Why advertise when you have a waiting list? It just wastes money. When was the last time you saw a mini commercial?

I watch BBC america in the morning on PBS, Mini and BMW commercials

For the xA/xB commercials here they are:

http://www.scion.com/move/index_tv.html

the second text link should lead you to the downloads sections. There you can download or stream the commercials

I agree. No need to advertise when you can't even keep them on the lot.

BTW, the only Scion ads I've seen have been at the movies before the previews. That's where I first saw the cars.

Everytime you drive your vehicle you're a rolling advertisement for Scion - WE will roll in more customers for the brand than any amount of commercial advertising ever will.

The idea is to let kids discover them on their own, it creates legitimacy for the scion brand as a slightly underground, hip thing that select few people are in the know about.

They advertise a lot on adult swim (check cartoon network late at night) because that's what their target audience is watching.
