Help! I have an $80 limit....what should I mod?
If you care about your sound and you have an iPod, the aux input adapter is the best $60-75 you will ever spend. It is an easy mod and the stock head unit works perfectly with it (I have the PIE). The only problem I had was how to mount the plastic box to the firewall/ducting behind the radio--I used heavy duty stick on velcro (for rugs on hardwood floors, $3) and have never had a rattle. Makes it removable, which I wanted since my next mod is to hardwire the iPod connector into the car and free up my cigarette lighter.
We I get a chance, I'll take some pix about how I mounted the iPod right at the shifter level--that will take up your next $35, but it makes the iPod mounting look professional and saves your cupholders. (Which don't work very well, anyway).

I put the adapter near the top of my list because I have a plug-n-play sirius which is mounted in the coin cup in the dash. Check out my pics in my profile to see how I mounted it. I hope the adapter will work better than the fm modulator.
I would say OTG spacers. On xBs and xAs, the rear track is less than the front track. The spacers push the rear wheels out a bit so they are the same as the fronts. And only $65--with free shipping.
