Default help me please!!! electrical problem... i think

iv had my xb for about almost 2 years now i guess and ita allways had a sound system, remote start ,monitors, neons, xbox and stuff like that in it. seriously i bought the subs for this car befor i got the car and i put them in the day i got the car. but recently, i guess about a month ago the car has suddenly been diein on me. an at wierd times.

like today my car was off for about i dont know 12+ hours and i remote started it from the house and it worked fine. i drove it about 10 miles away to get somthing and when i came out of the store the first time i remote started it again, it started up fine, but when i realise that i was stupid and bought the wrong thing and went back inside to return it, i turned it off. when i went back to the car the second time the remote sart would not ingage... i barly got the car started, im mean it barley started i had the key turn 3 times and last time i just kept it held in the ignition setting untill the car finaly rolled over.

some mornings itslike that some mornings it turn on fine some mornings i have to jump it.
i cant figure out what it is because its never the same thing!!!! if it just kept dying id figue it was the alternator but it starts sometimes, i thought it was the battery but i volt meter to it it looks fine. i dont know whats going on?!!?!?!?!?!
also i dont think the car actualy dies cuz i have had my car die on me befor when i left the xbox on all night, all the radio settings get lost when the car actualy dies but that does not happen. also all the lights come on in the guage cluster when i start the car after it doesent want to start..
some1 help me please any sugestions would be greatly appreciated!

well think about it... think of all the extra "electronic accessories" you are running and the power draw especially. you are running a living room full of electronic equipment off of a 12 volt car battery and it's alternator.

Do you have anything extra installed to help out with the power consumption? capacitors or an extra battery?

Sounds like a second battery would make a world of difference.

Check the battery cables/terminals for corrosion.

Had an old car do just that. I did a new battery, cleaned the posts/cable clamps. No go. It was the actual connection where the cable went into the clamp. Could not see it until I pulled the cable out of the clamp. Next time wiggle it there and see.

It will meter fine, but will not hold up under heavy load. When its cold, get worse. Battery needs load test, it will almost always meter @12v no load.

Also, I run 3 amps (although I'm not a bass head) off original stock battery. Going to go yellow top or Walmart when its time.
