How to remove rear window wiper assembly and xmas clips?
Ok, don't laugh but I need a HOW TO ...
I need to remove the rear windshield wiper assembly. I've looked in the interior side of the rear door ...
How do I remove the "christmas tree" clips which hold the trim panel in place withoug breaking them?
If you need a pic, let me know.
Also any general tips on removing the wiper assembly would be awesomely helpful.
Thanks!!!!

Dont worry about breaking them. They are only good for one insertion anyway. You can reuse them sometimes, but they almost always are loose the second time around. Besides they are cheeeeap. Just yank them out and buy new ones. Spend your time and effort not damaging the panel.

first... remove the small plastic nut housing ... u just have to peel it off almost and it snaps out. Then remove the one visible nut.... i think it's 10mm. once that's off ...here's the fun part.
pull back on the wiper arm..away from the rear window. once it has reached it max spring tension..pull back farther gently... once u have it far back...wiggle as u tug. it should just come right off...don't worry of breaking it...cuz it won't unless u snap it back really quick and hard.
most ppl have covered the wiper motor arm with one of those Scion Fist (made for attenae). u can also opt to remove the whole motor assembly...but that's not my field.

Thank you for the tips.
Yes I need to remove the motor as I am working towards a graphic install which requires
a reasonably flat surface. (I'm going to "plug" the hole)
So that said. Still in search of motor removal tips!!!!!!
I'm assuming once I get the inner trim removed that it should be reasonably straight forward.
I really hate to just yank on those clips!!! Is that really the only way?
