Default "mods in progress" Need Help!!!!!!!!!!

If you have seen my ride featured on www.scionevogl.com then you know i have done a few things to it! But it is rather plain on the outside aside from the18" spoiler and xm antena!

So by spring my head & fog lights will be tinted jdm yellow "it will be in the SL tech article" and i want to install canards on the front bumper (big problem)
i like the apr ones but thats setting me back over 280 for the a&b set! plus i dont want anything aluminum shiny!

i found a set by C wings for 49.00 but they are out stock for six weeks!
so if any one has any links to aero prod sites or find any canards post them up!

i would like to do both mods at the same time because i may have to take off the front bumper to get my head & fog lights out to spray them!
thanks for any help!
peace tjd!

No, don't! I actually thought the carbon fiber ones you linked me to on IM awhile back were nice. But I've seen some really poorly done canard jobs that just look tacky. I think you made a good move by staying away from the shiny metal look. Having them blend will be much better. And as far as the painting option, I would only do it if you could get it to look nice, and I'm guessing just painting some pieces of aluminum or other metal may not come out so great.

Nothing if done right I suppose, but most of the time when I've seen painted aluminum parts they look like crap, thus my last sentence. Just my opinion though.

Don't do canards. They are usually quite tacky.
