Need advice on rear sway bar

What is the best sway bar to get for the rear?

burstaneurysm 07-10-2007 06:26 PM

Progress

My friend has the TRD rear sway and loves it!

they are all like the tower strut bar, all that you are paying for is the name

TRD and Progress basically the same. Whiteline has one too but it attatches differently and has actual endlinks. I love my Whiteline bar but they are harder to find than the other 2.
Get which ever one you can find for the best price. It makes a hella difference in handling for sure.

Whoa whoa whoa, you're not saying that the rear sway doesn't do anything, right?

The front strut tower bars don't do much, if anything, but the Progress bar on the rear is highly effective- flatter cornering, reduced understeer, and increased resistance to gusty crosswinds. Ride quality differences are negligible. Highly recommended, same for the virtually identical TRD bar...

Yeah, the strut bars only help with tower flex during extreem cornering. They do nothing for day to day driving.
