New Sunroof Installed
 

I just came home after picking my car up from the custom shop with my new Webasto Hollandia 700 sunroof installed. It's a nasty night so I couldn't really open her up and enjoy it but I'm so excited just to have it. Notice in the picture that the interior light has been moved right behind the sunroof opening. It lights up the front so nicely now.

is that an installed price? i would love a sunroof, but there are so many things i would need to do before even thinking about installing one, not to mention that i've heard way too many horror stories about aftermarket sunroof leaking problems. i figure i'll live without the sunroof in my xB...all of my other cars (2000 golf, '92 GTI 16v, '87 jetta 8v, '81 rabbit diesel) have sunroofs to satisfy that need

i got a quote for the webasto panoramic sunroof... $1295... thats a 55 inch sunroof, with a 30 inch opening... ummm, you judge.

No, it's the Panormaic one that is having problems.
The model that chadfo got installed is an alternative.

I'm still ____ed that I couldn't get the panoramic, but
man, that in-slider is a really nice option. Looks like they
did a quality install.

If the weather is nicer this weekend, I'm taking some
photos of my install for comparison. I went with a dual
spoiler type vs the in-slide type like chadfo got. I'm pretty
sure his sunroof has a larger opening then mine!

im interested in getting a sunroof also , but after seeing the panoramic one, all others dont look the same , is there anything that can be done to still get the panoramic one even if the dealer doesnt install it .

1200$?? damn homie....I was quoted 700$ installed for that same moonroof. Thats almost as bad as paying the dealership 1900$

I think I might end up spending 1200$ though but for the full rag top.
