Default New xB questions.

My wife and I are looking at a new blue onyx xb and will probably get it.I have a question though. The first one we looked at was an automatic and had two switches behind the shifter one looked like a cup the other on and off only, are these for the cupholder and under dash lights because these were not on the window sticker.I just drove a man trans that did not have these,if I get a cupholder light off ebay etc does it come with these switches or is it a factory thing.

Depends on if it is the same kit or something aftermarket. One might have been the foglight switch and the other might have did both the other things. Maybe someone that has both can give more info. I say if you really want those things, get them on the car and they will be under the warranty. My 2 cents

I know on my box, the switch is just one single switch, and its a push button. It even has a lil brass benzel that reads "illumination".

Go back and hit the switches, see what happens. Just make sure the Mrs. isnt in the passenger seat when you do. Just in case you get the James Bond version and she goes flying out the roof!

BTW.... most dealer add ons are more expensive. Look around here and get them after market, or try the classified ads on this site. Youll save more money then if you switched to GIECO.
